Volunteers and Peer Mentors

Become a volunteer or peer mentor

Volunteering is a fantastic way to gain experience & support your local community,  our volunteers & peer mentors have a diverse range of skills and support us to provide vital services for victims and their families. In return we offer comprehensive training, support and guidance. If you have a few hours spare each week or would like to help us occasionally to fundraise then we would love to hear from you.

We currently have charity shop and fundraising volunteer positions available.

Our brand new charity shop is on Whalley Old road in Blackburn, if you'd like to get involved in this exciting new venture please email shop@thewishcentre.org with your availability. Current opening times are 9.30am-3.30pm Tuesday-Friday.

If you're interested in helping us to fundraise by taking part in a diverse array of activities like visiting local stores, hosting tombola's or taking part in events then please email fundraising@thewishcentre.org
